-Yunho you have one sibling right?

[Yes. I am the oldest and have one younger sister. When i was born i didn't cry so my parents were worried. So they hit me really hard to make me cry. You feel sorry for me right? I was abused as soon as i was born.]

-Haha. Yes it is~~

[The only time i can remember when i cried is when my grandfather passed away. I think from the time i was born i was a strong baby. (laughs)]

-Yes that is true. Yunho has a strong personality. How was your childhood?

[I was a trouble maker. I was full of cuts and scrapes. But something that was weird is that i never got any serious injuries and only got minor scrapes and cuts. So people around me said i was a strong boy. There was one time where i fell off a 3 story rooftop. When i was falling it felt like i was floating in the air. I was unconscious at the time and because i hung onto the balcony on the 1st floor i only had minor injuries.]

-Wow...you were really born with strong luck!

[Yes i think that too. My dad was also born as the oldest in the family name "Jung." My grandfather is also the oldest in the family name "Jung." I am the oldest son/grandson in the family as well i think they are watching over me.]

-So being the oldest in the family made you a good leader~~

[Yes. From my 1st year in Elementary school i've been the class leader and captain. I think it was because of my father's teachings. Whenever i come home with cuts and scrapes my mom would accept me affectionately. My dad was really strict on me, i think its because i was a boy. If i disappointed my dad or even cried a little bit i would get scolded by my dad a lot. My dad and other relatives were former lawyers so he was really strict on my studies. I think because of my childhood i wanted to become a prosecutor. The reason why i wanted to become a prosecutor was that i loved to read Sherlock Homes mystery novels. I also learned Taekwondo & Aikido because i thought i would need it when i became a public prosecutor.]

-Thats amazing. You gave a lot of info on your life. Whenever i see you, your tension doesn't change and you always lead the members. Do you have times when you think that you are overdoing it?

[Yes there are times like that. When i'm really tired i raise my tension. Also to work hard. Since I am human too there are times when i am down and times when i'm having a hard time. When i return home and go jogging or dance i feel better. When that doesn't work i talk to Jaejoong for advice or i talk to Junsu who i known for a long time in the office. But most of the times i'll try to solve my problems alone. ]

-You are strong Yunho.

[I need to become strong so i can work hard on whatever work i do.]

-Thats great. When did have the entertainment industry as a goal?

[Singing was in my 3rd year of Elementary school and dance was in my 4th year of Elementary School. But that time i was just learning. I did not think of becoming a pro in those industries at that time. My mom taught choir at church so i starting singing from that. My mother and sister are really good at singing. In elementary school i did recieve an award too. But after the lymph gland surgery i had a hard time singing so i stopped singing since then.]

-How did you start dancing?

[I did not start dancing from anyone's influence. It was my friend. There is this kid that was a really good dancer at my school. He was a misbehaved student and our relationship wasn't that good either. But he was a really good dancer. After looking at him dance i didn't want to loose to him and my "Don't want to loose" mind had played its role and dance started appealing to me. I wanted to be a good dancer so i practiced everyday. So when there is music my body gradually starts to move without me knowing. (laughs)]

-Did u go to a dance school?

[No i did not go to one. I officially started to get dance lessons with a teacher when i came into the office.]

-So until then you did it by yourself?

[Yes. I would watch dance videos and videos of artists and study from them until i would improve. I had a friend who attended a dance school. So he would teach me the stuff he learned at the school. So i practiced until was i good.]

-Have you wanted to go to dance school?

[I wanted to go. But my dad was very strict. My dad said if i didn't study hard he would make me quit dancing. While i was studying, i practiced dancing when i had some free time. So in order to continue dancing i had to study hard. I made a dance team with my friend who also liked dancing and continued to dance that way too. I also particpated in various contests and events as well. Starting then i made the entertainment industry my goal and started to go to various auditions.]

-At the time did you go to the audition held by your company?

[Yes. But my school exam and other auditions conflicted with that audition. I decreased my sleep time and prepared the dance for my audition presentation. At the time my dad did not approve on me continuing my dancing. But after seeing how hard i worked, he let me go into the industry i am in today.]

-So you parents must be supporting you right now.

[Yes. They would always tell me "Since you are the one who picked the road, do not give up, always work hard, do not be light-minded and always look forward and do your best." I respect my work and i respect my parents who taught me not to be embarassed about my career. My dream is of course not to loose at anything as DBSK. My other dream is to become a father like my father. My parents knew each other since elementary school and their relationship was good. My father is a good husband to my mother. My father is a good dad to me and my sister. I respect my father as a husband of one person.]

-Thats amazing words. This is the first time i heard your parents were childhood friends. I feel proud.

[Thats right. My first love was also in my 3rd year of elementary school. But that relationship did not grow into love to marry like my parents. ]

-How did your first love start and end?

[She was in the same class as me. Our mothers were friends so we had a lot of chances to meet outside of school. She had a tough personality and always would say "Yunho do it right!" or "Yunho hurry up and do this!" She had a strong leadership. But i didn't have a chance to confess because she transferred schools. So my first love ended that way. I was sad.]

-I'm sorry about that. What memories do you have in your trainee years?

[I thought that when i go the office i would be able to become a professional. I had a hard time when i found out that it was the start of my long trainee years.]

-So your debut wasn't decided than.

[Yes. Since my house was far from the office i couldn't go to lessons often. It was hard for me. Esp in my 1st year of Highschool. My grandfather passed away and my family condition changed a bit. I had to earn my own money for what i wanted to do. So i did various part-time jobs. I did waiters and cleaned the snow in my hometown because it snowed there a lot. I did part-time jobs where i collected empty bottles that came from restaurants. I also did a part-time job where i taught dance to children.]

-So you had to work, dance and study at the same time. That must have been hard.

[Yes. It was really hard. In my trainee years i went to Seoul from a month to few weeks. Since i couldn't afford to have a place of my own, sometimes i went to Jaejoong's place or Junsu's. It was a special meeting for me during my trainee years. There are various lessons for trainees. There is trainer that is in charge of the trainee's schedules. Our group's trainer was very hard on me. At first i thought it was because the trainer didn't like me. That trainer has quit due to an illness right now but i realized that the trainer wanted to transform me into one of the top entertainers while i was in his/her office. I heard this after that trainer quit. I think that the reason i am here right now is because of that trainer. I'm really thankful to that trainer. ]

-Wow...thats really good karma. Finally, as "Jung YunHo" what kind of adult did you want to become?

[I don't want to forget my style which is working hard on anything. I want to become a great guy like my father.]

-Then, how about as a DBSK Member U-know Yunho?

[I can clearly remember the emotions i had after debuting with Hug in Korea and getting 1st place. I don't want to loose that newcomer state and impress lots of people as DBSK. I also want to continue to work harder. ]
