At 1pm on 26 June, Tohoshinki Member Yunho attended an event for the drama he starred in, “Yunho in No Limit ~Heading to the Ground~ Premium Event 2010” at Tokyo International Forum Hall A.

This event commemorates the release of the “No Limit ~Heading to the Ground~” DVD BOX release, and was exclusive only to those who had purchased the DVD Box. His co-star Ara also attended the event as a special guest.

The last time Yunho had appeared in front of the fans before the group went paused all activities was at the NHK Kouhaku Utagassen, so the 5000 fans who attended the event were very passionate. “I went to America to be part of Michael Jackson’s posthumous concert “THIS IS IT ” and this was what I was working hard on,” he said to the fans, smiling and showing his “healthy” appeal.

When the host asked Yunho to show his moonwalk, he said “But you didn’t make an appointment for this.. (laughs)” and showed his moonwalk nervously, causing laughter all around the hall.

During the talk, Yunho and Ara’s behind-the-scenes clips were shown for the first time. Recalling those times, Yunho naturally used his fluent Japanese to talk about it, but Ara too used quite a bit of Japanese. When the host asked about how she managed to speak so well, she revealed, “When Yunho and I talk on the phone, we use Japanese to communicate.” To that, Yunho said, “She’s just making use of me to improve her Japanese.(Laughs) I’m kidding. (Laughs)” answering jokingly in Japanese.


Talking about the 10 best scenes from the drama, Yunho recalled the scene where he had to fall into the Han River “I drank a lot of water, it was really scary. I thought of stopping in the middle of the scene, but that would mean that I would have to do it all over again, and drink even more water, so I just persisted through the scene.” He revealed that it was so agonizing that he eventually fainted for a while.

The best scene that was chose was from the Episode 16, the scene with the “Overhead kick.” He said, “I did the scene about 20 times. But because Ara and the others were chatting nearby, I felt like I needed to look good, so it was a problem.(Laughs) Thanks to them, the scene was taken in a relaxing mood, and I think it turned out cool” showing confidence.

When asked if he actually played soccer in real life, he answered, “When I was young, I played it because I was interested. However, I was not a Forward, but a Goalkeeper. (Laughs)”

Talking about soccer, we are now in the midst of the world cup season. “Bong Goon, the character I play, is a fan of Korean National Player Park Ji-Sung, and in reality, I am a fan of his too. For Japanese players, I was a fan of Hidetoshi Nakata. But now, it’s Keisuke Honda. He was decisive in the Denmark game, and his free-kick looked brilliant.” He said, showing his extensive soccer knowledge.

Finally, facing the fans, he recalled fondly, “When I first started playing the role of Bong Goon, I was very aware. But as the shooting went on, I think Bong Goon became part of me. I went to the event today. I went to the first one. It’s been a while since Yunho oppa made an appearance in Japan!!! It’s going around that the airport exploded yesterday because of Yunho oppa who was going to do the event the next day after a long time. However, the event today was completely packed too. The international forum is a gigantic hall but there was no empty seats. The event started about when it was supposed to. The stage was decorated with a soccer goalpost and a bench. (When it started) It became dark and light illuminated and oppa read his letter from behind the stage. As for the information (of the letter), My membory is not clear but it was something like, even though it was hard because it was hot and cold when he played the role of Bong Goon, with strength, he filmed it. It was a long information talking about things after parting from Bong Goon. However, when he was reading, his voice was so very lovely and sincere, I felt very touched and the people in the event cried a lot too. I was also very sad. Because all the people around me were crying a lot. Listening to him read the letter, I felt he really went through a lot of hardships to show us a wonderful Bong Goon. Listening to him say he was burdened and worried with his first acting challenge, my heart… Don’t worry anymore now oppa!! Everything will be fine…!! After that, to have oppa continue to smile and to make the atmosphere nice, the event people had lots of fun stories and it was a really good time. The master of ceremonies (hostess) came at 9:30 a.m. and she thought she would be the first one to be there but oppa was already there…his professionalism was touching. And then they started talking about the best 3 scenes from the drama that oppa picked. Particulary, #2, the scene where he fell into Hangang (river), he did the narration speech but he said even he was sad at just thinking about it. Oppa was smiling when he talked about even swallowing water but when I think of that speech, my heart just aches again. That speech really…. #1 was the overhead kick scene. It was so cold that day and I remember it as an open shoot (fiiming), is that right? He had to do it about 20 times filming for that overhead kick scene. That’s why when I saw the making film, oppa was continually holding different people. Because he was cold. It was fun but also a scene which brought tears. Then, talk of soccer came out. Oppa’s response is very wise indeed. ..! Saying Asia was definitely strong, he said he liked player Pak Ji Seung the best. He said he wanted to see the soccer today too so I guess he’s watching it now. I also like the player Pak Ji Seung that oppa likes!! And among the Japanese players, he thought player Honda is good. His free kick is great. He (Yunho) can’t kick like that but he thought Bong Goon could kick really well like that making the whole audience laugh. He played soccer before as a hobby but he hasn’t played in a club. When he played as a hobby, he was a goalkeeper but Bong Goon was a forward…His eyes were open wide as he was explaining the positions (can imagine how excited he must have gotten talking about soccer). Also, there was a part where he said he couldn’t forget about Bong Goon because there were too many similarities with Bong Goon. When they followed him to film for the Japanese DVD comment, there was a hidden video to test if he really remembered Bong Goon even though some time passed after it was televised in Korea. At first, he was given a soccer ball during the interview, of course he did the interview without knowing, knowing it was related to Bong Goon after all. After that, they said when you think of Bong Goon, you can’t forget chicken so they left chicken in the dressing room. He didn’t mention Bong Goon but he said he really liked this marinated chicken personally and so he ate it deliciously. (just made me burst out laughing thinking of the staff waiting to see if he would mention BG but instead gobbling down the chicken saying how much he liked chicken) That crunching crunchy sound was enough to give me some shivers. There was no mention of Bong Goon with that chicken too so this time they put oh gam ja (potato) cookies in the dressing room. As soon as he saw those cookies and that oh gam ja~ he actually said oh gam ja~ with that pronunciation as soon as he saw it. It was so cute. Later, he explained that he was the one who came up with the oh gam ja idea. He said at first he tried different ways (to say it) like oh~gam ja, oh gam~ja, oh gam ja~ oh gam~ja~ before he picked that oh gam~ja~. It was cute. He’s cute. In addition, he also said that he won’t be able to forget about Bong Goon because Bong Goon was his first role and there are lots of similarities and there were lots of hardships while filming. The order I wrote might be mixed up but I shared the stories that was talked about. At the end, he drew from the people to receive his signature but he looked so very sorry because he kept picking people from the first floor. Among the 20 people he picked, only 2 were from the second floor…he was continually >_< like this. Oppa was so handsome today. I couldn’t see the second event but it was a great time since I haven’t seen him in a while. It was touching and fun. Oppa, please come to Japan often in the future too!

I am happy that I can stand in front of all of you.
The offer for this drama came in the first days of last year.
At first, I was worried whether or not I can measure up to your expectations.
But all of your beliefs and long looks, for me making new challenges, have given me power.
I was conscious to be Bong Gun and act like him, so that I can get into the character.
When the shooting started, it was a very tough shot.
During the filming of the river, I drank so much water that it was painful, and it was also very cold.
I was able to see the surroundings by discussing and arguing together with the staffs, I could not have achieved just only with my own power.
How did you all feel, watching Bong Gun?
Since it was my first challenge, I am not 100% satisfied.
But through the role of Bong Gun, I think I was able to grow up.
As Bong Gun and Yunho, I have done my best, so I have no regrets.

Summary of some fanaccount ~

This fan met with the Japanese fans who went to Shin Ae Won (orphanage) and donated. They sent a congratulatory wreath to the Goong press con and they ordered a special one for this event too, a real work of art, not the regular kind of wreath. They said Avex would not accept any congratulatory wreaths from fans so they were all returned. They even had a cake but Avex wouldn’t accept that either. At the beginning before Yunho came out, they played Yunho’s message and a lot of fans cried. When Yunho was taking pictures with some fans, it was quiet and his butt was facing the audience so she said his butt was cute. She was sitting close enough where Yunho heard and he said “Who is it? Don’t look.” She said he was so cute when he said that. The audience had a good laugh.

A person who writes for the Japanese Goong blog received an invitation for the event so she went. She said the atomosphere was really good and it was fun. She said he’s slender and has a small face. She said seeing Yunho in person is very different (in a good way..hehe everybody gets a shock when they see him in person) She didn’t see the drama but now she wants to see it because he’s so cool. She said he’s a really good person.

Another fan said that Yunho’s message at the beginning was something like ~ he felt a lot of pressure because it was his first starring role and he wasn’t sure if he could meet everyone’s expectations so he felt burdened but with everyone’s support, he was able to get strength~ Female host said she went to event hall at 9:00 a.m. thinking she was going to be the first one there but Yunho was already there and he greeted her and shook her hand and she said she was not going to wash her hand for the time being (another fallen under Yunho’s spell). Yunho picked his top three favorite scenes which Jess already mentioned. He said performing “Checkmate” in the drama felt fresh. He said the scene where he falls into the river while saving Hae Bin was really hard. He had to do the scene several times and he swallowed some water and he even fainted. He was rescued but temporary loss of memory was a big concern. The final overhead kick he said was really good. He’s already thought of other top three scenes for the other events so they won’t all be the same.

Another fan said that Yunho’s face and butt are small. She wasn’t going to say much about the event since there are events remaining still. However, she said that she was able to feel again just how awesome a person Yunho is. The event was about an hour but it felt very short. They had to end it on time since there was another one after. However, she was thankful that he was in Japan at all. His Japanese is still the same as before and didn’t get worse though there were times when she didn’t understand because of his pronunciation when he talked really fast but that wasn’t anything different than before.

Sound like everybody had a good time and cherished it even more since they missed him so much and they don’t know when they’ll see him again. I hope event in July goes well too in Kobe.

100626 “I Drank A Lot Of Water, And Fainted” – Yunho On The Pains Of His Debut Acting Experience

On 26 June, Tohoshinki’s Jung Yunho was present at the Tokyo International Forum Hall as an actor, for his debut starring role in the drama “No Limit ~Heading to the ground~”, and it’s DVD release event. The event included Yunho’s personal selection of “My best scenes TOP 3” in the drama. He revealed that during the scene where he sank to the river bed, he actually stayed in under water for 2 minute, drinking a lot of water, and eventually fainted. He said, “I just resigned myself to drinking the water, and tried my best to shoot the scene,” explaining his feelings during that time, and the audience clapped warmly when he said this.

This drama is about soccer player Cha Bong Goon (Yunho) who aims to be a world class player, but is faced with problems such as his team breaking up, and struggles as he grows and how love blossoms among the ones around him. It is a youth love comedy drama. Two versions of the DVD Box set “No Limit ~Heading to the Ground~ Complete Series DVD BOX 1” and “~DVD BOX 2.” They sold over 14,000 copies within the first week, taking both first and second position on the Oricon Chart Ranking in the Drama category.

Incidentally, this event comes at a time where both Japan and Korea have qualified for the knockout rounds in the World Cup. Yunho, who usually plays the position of goalkeeper when he plays soccer in private, declared about the two countries, “With this fighting spirit, I think and hope that we can get into the final 4!” His favourite soccer player is Keisuke Honda, the instrumental playmaker who helped determine Japan’s victory over Denmark. “ His shooting and kicks are very good”, he said, complimenting Japan’s ace player.

Oricon - Tohoshinki Yunho’s Takes 1st & 2nd Place In The DVD Drama Category

His first leading role as an actor, Tohoshinki’s Jung Yunho’s drama “No Limit ~Heading to the Ground~ Complete DVD Box I” and “DVD BOX II” (released on the 16th) has sold over 14,000 copies within the first week, taking the 1st and 2nd placing on the drama category of the Oricon Weekly chart. (2nd and 3rd on the overall chart.) From the same group, Junsu, Jejung & Yuchun have formed a new unit, and Yunho himself will be starring in the Korean Musical “Goong,” doing other activities aside from singing, proving that their popularity has not waned.

For Korean dramas, the last “One-two” finish had occurred on 26 March 2007, for the making of Bae Yong Joon’s “The Legend”, titled “The Legend Preview DVD Gold Edition” and “Silver Edition” It has been 3 years and 3 months since then.

This drama was produced by Korea’s MBC, and is currently airing on Korean entertainment channel KNTV, in Japan. It is a youth love comedy drama. Yunho plays the role of a soccer player with unknown potential, whose team disbands and the story unfolds as he struggles, grows and love blossoms between himself and those around him.

The DVD comes in a set of 5 discs, 4 of which contain the main story. The final disc is a special containing cast interviews, the making films. Other premiums such as a special photobook are also included.

100621 Tohoshinki Yunho's "Heading To The Ground" DVD Release Premium Event

Popular Korean Group Tohoshinki's leader, Yunho (Jung Yunho) will be attending the PR event for the DVD release of the drama that he starred in, "Heading to the Ground." To commemorate the DVD release of "No Limit~Heading to the Ground~" on the 16th of this month, Yunho has been scheduled to appear at the Tokyo International Forum Hall for the "Yunho in No Limit ~Heading to the Ground~ Premium Event" on the 26th of this month.
At this event, Yunho will show his hand-picked "My Best Scenes Top 3", do a talk show, quiz, present corner and more of such programs. It will showcase the charm of the drama, and (Go) Ara will be a special guest at the event. Tokyo Shibuya's TSUTAYA, together with the sale of the DVD, exhibits the Soccer Uniform worn by Yunho for the filming, and there will be specially prepared souvenirs for the event. A story about Soccer Player Cha Bong Goon's dreams and love, this is Yunho's first time challenging acting, and this has also been a hot topic in Japan. KNTV, which specialises in Korean shows, has been aired the drama in January this year.

8-year-old Joon Seo played the character of Kim Nam Joo’s daughter in <<>> in 2009, and in that same year, she also played the role of Yunho’s younger sister in Heading to the Ground

TVXQ’s U-Know Yunho showed off his chic and classic charm in a photoshoot in global fashion magazine ‘Marie Claire’.

U-Know Yunho visited Hong Kong in mid-May in order to partake in the photshoot. It was carried out as an unofficial activity due to safety reasons, but countless numbers of fans showed up wherever he went. It is said that this was the reason why he and the team had to be out at 3 o’clock in the morning to complete their work.

The photos that were taken were released in the July issue of Marie Claire Korea on the 19th. But because of his popularity in Asia, the photos will also be released in the August issue of Marie Claire in Hong Kong, Thailand and other Asian countries. The decision to have U-Know Yunho be the cover model of Thailand’s August issue is also drawing great attention.

From DBSK’s leader to actor Jung Yunho. Uknow Yunho stood before Marie Claire’s camera in Hong Kong as he’s now finally learning to stand alone. He doesn’t want to be an idealist but he is only looking ahead enthusiastically since he doesn’t have the slightest desire to go back to a comfortable path.

UKNOW YUNHO STANDS ALONE

Even though we’ve seen and heard of domestic stars enjoying popularity abroad, I really did not realize how much. Though I knew countries like Thailand, Hong Kong, and Japan loved DBSK and Uknow Yunho, I did not really know to what extent was that passion. That’s why when we left for Marie Claire’s photoshoot in Hong Kong and he was quickly surrounded by fans so he couldn’t even move at the airport, we didn’t even anticipate it. (interview was done by email, he sent a lengthy email from Hong Kong) That reminds me, a few months ago, I saw an article that his Japanese fans donated a large amount of money in Uknow Yunho’s name. It showed that even though the culture of fandom is said to be out of control, there’s no doubt that it can be positive. Of course, Uknow Yunho’s brand power was made within DBSK. Just when I thought that it’s alright if at least one idol group still remains as it ages together, they came to a dramatic suspension. Whether that’s a temporary farewell or a regrettable break-up, it’s a shock to the fans for sure and Uknow Yunho has begun to stand alone in the drama HTTG. Instead of using his popularity to do a trendy drama, it was surprising to see him choose a sad character in a miserable plight. On top of that, Uknow Yunho’s image with ‘Cha Bong Goon’s’ pleasant and reckless energy clashed considerably. That’s why I was curious. What is Jung Yunho’s appeal besides the Uknow Yunho whose charisma and good dance on stage makes your mouth hang open. Even though we don’t know yet whether Uknow Yunho wants to eventually be an actor, singer, or a star but the right question is if this young man, Jung Yunho the person who removed DBSK’s name Uknow Yunho had originally the same energy that is no different.

Q: Even though you can’t feel the same going for work as you would for travelling, how was your Hong Kong photoshoot?

A: Though it’s been a while since I’ve visited Hong Kong, I was surprised and also happy to meet many fans at the airport. That’s why I felt warm and comfortable during my visit. Even though there were photoshoots at 3:00 a.m. which was deserted because there were too many fans gathered (during day), it was rather fun because I got a special experience of walking in Hong Kong in the middle of the night. It was also nice looking at Hong Kong’s beautiful night view while shooting.

Q: How do you feel when you realize the number of foreign fans (you have)?

A: It’s surprising but also kind of strange/interesting. I felt it again as I was doing this photoshoot, I’m always grateful. Even though I can’t come too often, I’m thankful for their constant support and I always miss them.

Q: You like to travel. Not as Uknow Yunho the singer or actor but personally as an ordinary Jung Yunho, we’re curious what kind of fun trips do you take?

I like leaving after preparing for it lightly. Lots of times, I go to the ocean. I like going on spur of the moment trips after talking with friends. Even though I don’t go far, it’s double the fun when I spend it with nice people.

Q: Can you think of yourself as an ordinary person like before? Haven’t you already come too far in the world?

A: I do feel as if I’ve come far counting my long days since debut. However, when I look at the people around me who have been with me a long time, I’m made aware of the ordinary young man, not the star. I meet my childhood friends often. When we meet, we talk about the dreams we had when we were young or our future. Also, I’m close to a lot of people around me who are a lot older than me and I talk to them also.

Q: What kind of person do you like? As a man, what kind of a man do you think is great?

A: I like the same style whether as a person or as a man. A person who’s actions and words are the same. A person that takes responsibility for his words. I can’t be close to a person who makes excuses or tries to rationalize/justify doing something wrong. A person who doesn’t lose his dreams even if he gets old is great. I guess it’s that type of personality. However, if the person always tends to do things looking ahead , it seems he can’t rest without thinking about anything. Sometimes that can be unfortunate but can’t help it since that’s the personality.

Q: What gets you ‘hooked’ always other than work?

A: It’s different each time but I don’t get tired of travel and sports. Some time ago I’ve ridden my bike to Bundang on spur of the moment because it occurred to me that I wanted to ride my bike there and I’ve even walked all day following along the subway lines.

Q: I think people would get surprised if they accidentally met Uknow Yunho walking. What do you do mostly when you’re alone?

A: I either watch movies or read. In terms of books, I read lots of stuff. I read novels, mangas, even economic related and common sense books (laughs). Even with movies, I like a variety instead of a particular genre. It’s the same with music too. From trendy songs to old pop, 90’s songs, it just depends on my mood. Come to think of it, it seems I’m always planning a trip even if I don’t actually get to go.

Q: What have you done most recently?

A: I think I have to try my best since I have new plans/activities. I’ve filmed a video to be shown at the Korean Pavilion at Shanghai Expo too. There’s also this photoshoot in Hong Kong. I like all the new experiences.

Q: From now on, should we call you Uknow Yunho or Jung Yunho? Which one are you comfortable with?

A: Isn’t Uknow Yunho, Jung Yunho? It doesn’t matter which one you call me because I think both are me.

Q: Wasn’t your first attempt at acting hard? Was it as fun as standing on stage?

A: I believe it was fun enough even though it was of course strange/unfamiliar and hard. Instead of the acting skill parts, it was a time of learning from seniors who know a lot more of life than me. It was also precious fate meeting senior Yoon Yeo Jung.

Q: As an actor, to what extent is you goal?

A: I would like to be an actor like Johnny Depp. He keeps showing new sides of himself even as he sticks to his own style. I think that’s a really wonderful actor.

Q: How does it feel working alone with strange/unfamiliar people after being separated from DBSK members? It seems you would be lonely and afraid.

A: I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t (lonely and afraid). However, I’m not going to be reluctant or hesitate because of those feelings. Whether it’s new people or new work, if it doesn’t capture my heart, it’s hard to connect and I also can’t become friends with them so I’m always trying to be sincere. If you look at it like that, you’re not just left with work but you’re also left with a person.

Q: Looking at the media coverage of you all this time, you’re seen as very frank.

A: However, being a star as a profession, it’s not easy being completely honest every moment. The nature of the work is such that there can be misunderstandings and that’s why I’m learning to take responsibility for what I say even as I’m being frank because I don’t want to have regrets.

Q: Is there a big difference between the Jung Yunho that is shown in the media with the real Jung Yunho? In other words, what do you is the biggest thing that people misunderstand about Jung Yunho?

A: I’m thankful that they see me as someone who has leadership (qualities) and as a man who has charisma. I guess there are those parts to me but in front of the people I’m close with, I actually act cute and joke around a lot. When I work, I’m meticulous and work hard to try to show perfect side but on a daily basis, I’m lively and joke around a lot and have a cheerful personality.

Q: Whether it’s drama, movies, or music, what is the next thing for you short-term?

A: Since I get excited on stage more compared to anyone else, I will continue with music in some way. In addition to that, there are various plans. Leaving open several possibilities, I’m trying to coordinate which activities to do first. I think I will be able to show a new side. It will be nice if those who are watching and waiting for it can enjoy it.

Q: It feels as you’re spreading your wings. Do you want to move forward from now on?

A: Of course I do. I feel like I’m spreading my wings now and in the future. In my head, I’m the type that is always dreaming and thinking of the future and that stimulates me. If I do my best and reach a small mountain later on, I’ll see an even higher mountain. When I climb a mountain there are times when I am out of breath and run out of strength but after time passes, I’ll be more stronger and tough. It’s not bad to climb a higher mountain and see a wider world. I am still moving forward with what I think and I will not do something that I will regret.

Q: Do you like your age now? If not, do you want time to pass quickly?

A: I like the present time but occasionally, I would like it to pass quickly. It’s because I want to know how much I was able to achieve my goals and the promise I made to myself when I first started. I want to quickly see myself at that time.

Q: Do you have something you miss?

A: My home is in Gwangju. I’ve been at Seoul since I was in junior high school to practice so I miss my family, especially my younger sister. The only memory I have of my sister is from her elementary school days and then when she became an adult. I’m the older brother but I get lot more strength from her (than her from me) so I feel bad about that. I want to see my sister often and buy her tasty things to eat and take her to a lot of good places.

Q: Ultimately, what do you want to be and want to have?

A: I want to be a good father. The person I admire the most is my father so I want to be like him. My dream is to be a good father in a harmonious home. I think that’s the hardest thing to do. Also, I have always wanted to give hope to those who are having a hard time since I was young. Whether it’s singing, acting, or something else, whatever it may be, I want to do things that I can do well.

Q: It feels as if you’ve matured quite a bit these days.

A: I’m trying to listen more and think more than I used to. Regardless of the direction I take, I think there is no other choice but to believe in myself once I’ve made my decision.

1. Although you come here because of work, and cannot really enjoy as a tourist, but how's your shooting in Hong Kong?
It has been a long time since I have been here. Starting from airport, I was suprised to see many fans, so during my stay in Hong Kong I feel calm and warm-hearted. Althought there was once I needed to have my photoshoot done in the empty street at 3 in the morning, due to too many fans gathered around. But because of that, I can walk on Hong Kong's street at 3am, which is a special and interesting experience for me. The night view in Hong Kong is really beautiful, you will have better mood by only looking at it.

2.To experience the numbers of overseas fans for real, how do you feel?
(I feel)suprise and miraculous. Because of the photoshoot this time, I can feel it once again. I am very grateful, that even we are unable to visit here, but the fans still support us with passion. Thank you very much. I have been missing them.

3.Do you like traveling? I am very curious that the ordinary Jung Yunho, but not singer or actor Uknow Yunho is kind of person who like to travel?
I like to travel in casual wear. Mainly is going to see ocean, but it is not bad also to go travel with friends without advance preparaton after chitchatting with them. Even though not travel to a very far place, but if can go with good friends, it will be filled with joy.

4.Ah, before this do you have ideas that you are an ordinary people same as the person with your age? Do you feel distanced from them now?
It has been a long time since debut, I have the feelings that I have already been walking for so long. However if take a look at the people who walk along with me, then you will have the wrong impression that I am not an artist but an ordinary youth. I meet my childhood playmates frequently and will talk about childhood dreams or our future prospects. I also have close friends who are older than me, and often chat with them too.

5.What kind of person do you like? As a man, what kind of man do you consider handsome?
Whether as a man or a person, the type of person that I like is the same, which is the person who is consistent in his words and actions, the one who is responsible for his words. I do not want to be friends with those who like to defend themselves, or always twisted their mistakes into the reasonable one. In my opinion, the person who do not let go of their dreams even though they are aged is very handsome. But due to my character that only looking and running forward, I cannot think of any other, and cannot stop and rest. Although it is a pity, but since my character is formed like this there is no other way.

6. Apart from working, what do you like to do the most?
It depends, they are different every time. But I like travelling and sport. Sometimes I have absurd ideas to ride on bicycle to where my mind brings me to. I also ever walked along the railways for a whole day.

7. I maybe startled if came upon UknowYunho on street. What do you like to do when you are alone?
Either reading books or watching movies. The book depends on which book I took. Novels, comics, or books about economic, even books about general knowledge. (lol) I have no bias towards genres of film, I like all of them. It is the same for music, from pop music to old pop, I am the one who listen them according to my mood. And to think deeply, I always seems to have plans for travelling even though I never been there.


8. What is the most you do recently?
Since I have work that being planned ahead, so I want to work hard on it. I had participated in video clips which demonstrated in Korean pavilion at Shanghai EXPO. It is the same when I come to Hong Kong for photoshoot this time. Everything is new and nice for me.

9. Should I call you Uknow Yunho now? Or Jung YunHo? How should I address you?
Isn't that Uknow Yunho is Jung YunHo? In my opinion, those 2 are the same, I am still me, so it doesn't matter.

10.First time challenge in acting, do you found it difficult? Is it the same feelings as you standing on stage?
Obviously I felt unfamiliar and difficult, but I think I fully enjoyed it. Compared to acting skills that needed time to refine, it was a time when I learn the meaning of life from a senior who has far more experience than me.

11. As an actor, what target do you aim for?
I want to be an actor like Johnny Depp. He has strong personality and continues to show his new side to us. For me, he is an actor with real talent.

12. How do you feel to be separated from TVXQ members, and working alone with people that you are not familiar with? For sure you will be scared and feeling lonely.
It is a lie if I tell you I do not feel that way. But I am not going to panic or hesitate because of that. No matter it is a new thing, or new people, if you do not treat them sincerely, then you have no chance to approach it, and unable to become friends. Because of this, I have been working hard on it (to treat everything and everyone sincerely). In this case, not only things can be done, but made friends at the same time.

13. Before this, Yunho on screen had left honest impression on everyone.
However artist is not a job that can always maintain honesty. It is difficult to be honest all the time. That is because it might cause misunderstanding which is irrelevant to the truth(at any time). I hate regret, therefore I want to work hard so that there is consistency between words and deeds.

14.Is there any difference between Uknow Yunho on screen and Jung Yunho in real life? In other words, what kind of wrong impression do you think people have on you?
I am very grateful that people can think I am manly, charismatic and with leadership quality. Although I do have these, but in reality when I am in front of people whom I am close to, I am like to play around. Although my eyes got teary during work, and often push myself hard and strive hard to achieve perfectness, but the usual me is active and naughty.

15.Including the activities overseas, either it is drama series, movie or music, do you have any future plan for it?
I am the one who can easily get excited on stage if compared to the others, so I will continue my music regardless its form. Apart from this, there are still a lot plans. Several possibilities had been developed, but still in the midst of adjusting which activities to be carried out first. Should be showing everyone a new image of me. I hope that everyone who constantly paying close attention to me still can enjoy and look forward to it.

16. Right now, do you have the feelings of keep moving forward? And do you still persist in things that you want initially?
Of course, now I have the feelings of keep moving forward too. I am the kind of person who always have dreams, and will constantly outline the future in my mind. Well, this can motivate me to move forward continuosly. If you climbed up a hill, you will see the mountain. Although one may out of breath or lack of strenght during climbing, but once you get through it, you will become stronger. If you climb higher, you will see the higher mountain, and have the wider view of world. You will not regret it later if keep moving towards the direction you pictured now,

17. Do you satisfied with your age now, or hope that the time can fly faster?
Although I like the moment now, sometimes I do hope that time can fly faster. Because once I started a thing, I am very curious of how much I have achieved compared to my promise and target I set initially. Therefore, I would like to see myself at that time faster.

18. I would like to know is there anything that you missed a lot.
My hometown is in Gwangju, because I became a trainee in Seoul since high school, I missed my family, especially my sister. In my memory, I only have the impression of her in elementary school, and when she is grown up. Apparently I am her brother, in fact I am the one who receive strenght and comfort from her more. I feel very sorry for her. I want to see my sister more often, buy her delicious food, and bring her to places which is fun.

19.Do you have a thought of what kind of person you want to be or things that you want to possess?
I want to become a good father. The person whom I respect most is my father, I want to become a father that same like my father. To become a father of a harmonious family is my dream, but I think that is the most difficult. And to become the person who brings hope to people in their hardship, is also my dream from childhood. This idea has not changed till now. Whether it is in singing, acting or the other stuff I have mentioned above, those are the things that I can carry out well.

20. I feel that recently you become more mature suddenly.
Compared to the past, I want to listen and think more before I act. After I decided to go towards one direction, as if there is no other alternative way but believe in myself .

'Goong' Receives Immense Media Coverage

The drama adaptation of the manga 'Goong', starring Joo Ji Hoon and Yoon Eun Hye will be undergoing yet another transformation and be performed as a musical production.
