100602 YunHo: I Will Definitely Participate in MJ’s Tribute Concert
Leader of Asia's popular group Dong Bang Shin Ki, UKnow YunHo is determined to participate in Michael Jackson’s tribute concert.
UKnow YunHo has expressed that he will definitely take part in Michael Jackson’s tribute concert despite its indefinite postponement. The concert that was originally scheduled on the 8th of June at Wembley Arena (England) was postponed indefinitely by its organizing body. Whether the concert will be carried out as planned, or whether the only Asian representative UKnow YunHo will take part in it, it has attracted much attention by the fans. YunHo has also expressed that he will continue to practice according to the original plan and at the same time keep track of the developments on this issue.
YunHo, being one of the participants in this tribute concert, has become a topic among fans. People who had music relationships with Michael Jackson in the past will also be attending this concert.
YunHo takes this performance seriously, being a fan of Michael Jackson and also having the chance of standing on the same stage with other top stars. He felt that it had significant meanings being able to do so. Therefore he stated that he has to attend that performance even if he has to adjust his other schedules.

When I went to visit TVXQ's leader U-Know Yunho on the 24th, it was drizzling as I made my way to my destination. It was weather that seemed to match the 'Musician's Choice' theme he had chosen for the week which was "Music to listen to on a rainy day". He, who had been waiting in front of the SM Entertainment office, happily welcomed this writer. Wearing casual clothes, he smiled brightly and said, "I feel good because it's raining outside."
"Rainy days are times for me to reflect on myself. Other friends usually go drinking on days like this, but I drive my car to an arboretum or I choose some good music to listen to."
When asked about his recent activities, he brought up his photoshoot first. "I went to Hong Kong for a photoshoot, and it was nice to have a personal interview as I was partaking in the photoshoot. I've always been showing people the bright side of myself, but I never really had the chance to talk about personal things." We were curious of his next solo venture. U-Know Yunho said, "I don't want to let go of the music life that I've had for the past 5, 6 years and I've also been considering upgrading my acting skills." He also said, "What I want to say the most is that I want to challenge the limits I've set on myself from more than one side."

Height is 184 cm. His balanced body shines in the Louis Vuitton suit. Step by step, he methodically poses to the beat of Michael Jackson (music) which flows through the studio. With Michael Jackson in his heart, Yunho who appeared at the Seoul tribute concert in March, happily moved his body with the luxurious suit and music.

Yunho played the reading role for the first time for the drama “No Limit ~Heading To The Ground~” broadcasted in Korea last autumn. He passionately played the role of Cha Bong Gun, who was a soccer player famous throughout the world.
‘Bong Gun, who believes in himself and overcome barriers, was a crossover with the previous myself, who was practicing hard to achieve my dream “to sing and dance on stage”. Immediately after I read the scripts, I wanted to play the role. I think I was able to advance forward playing the role of Bung Gun. Days have passed after the filming was completed, but Bong Gun still lives in my heart. I would be delighted if the character of Bong Gun would remain in the hearts of those who have watched the drama.’
Under the pressure of his first reading role, Yunho recalls that he was supported by the costars, staffs, and moreover, the supports from the fans.
‘Fans prepared food for us at the location place, and participated as the audience in the soccer stadium. The staffs said “You have nice and good fans”, and I was very proud. The fans who believe in me resemble my own self.’
Showing his conscientious acting throughout the drama, we can feel the possibility of the actor Yunho. Which are you more interested in, singing or acting?
‘My friends asked me “Which will you go on with?” I think that both are the same when it comes to expressing yourself. Singers also act in the range of 3 minutes. So, I do not want to focus on only just one method, but I would like to make a new challenge in various fields.’
Yunho is famous not only in Japan and Korea but throughout Asia. But he is not content with his position, he says with sincerity, ‘I want to do my best more and more. I am feeling the true meanings of ”Gift, like genius, only means an infinite capacity for taking pains.” I would like to challenge simple things in front of me with passion, and would do my best to improve myself, so everyone, please support me!’

DBSK’s leader, Yunho, challenged the role of the main lead in the youthful romantic comedy [No Limit~ Heading To The Ground~] for his acting debut. As an artiste, he states his reason behind challenging this work.
When I saw the sсript, my thinking was that even if it’s going to be very tough, I will still very much want to act out this character. I felt the main lead’s character was very similar to mine; no matter what obstacles he may face, he still believed in himself and would work hard to overcome the obstacles.
