Michael Jackson's Concert, Following Uknow Yunho Complete Cast is Confirmed

Boy group DBSK's leader Uknow Yunho has been confirmed to appear and Michael Jackson's tribute concert's complete cast has been settled.

On the 27th, according to Paragon Music Corporation who's preparing for the concert said that 2010 is the beginning of the first Korean and U.S. joint project and the complete Korean concert cast has been finalized which will pay tribute to Michael Jackson.

The concert title is 'A Tribute Band from Michael Jackson's This Is It Movie and U-Know Live.' The concert title has been changed in order to further highlight the tribute to Michael Jackson and the poster's image has also been changed to show the concert's title change.

The Korean tribute concert will include American artists Morris Pleasure (*keyboard), Ken Stacey (*vocalist), Vann Johnson (*vocalist), Tony Terry (*vocalist), Samuel Sims (*bass), Joel Campbell (*keyboard), Brian Moore (*drums), Jeff Pevar (*guitar), and Chloe Pappas (*guitar).

Other artists who will show spectacular dance performances include Miguel Reyes Santiago, Gianinni Semedo Moreira, Tymika Truss, Josue Vega-Torres, and Maki Saruwatari.

Particularly, band master Morris Pleasure was Michael Jackson's This Is It Band keyboardist. Las July 7, 2009, he was the prominent keyboard player who participated in Michael Jackson's tribute concert with the This Is It Band.

Talented vocalist Ken Stacey is one of the original four vocalists personally chosen by Michael Jackson (for the concert he was planning to do before he died) who participated in Michael Jackson's tribute concert last July 7 at Staples Center. U.S. vocalists and Korea's Uknow Yunho will perform King of Pop Michael Jackson's numbers which received lots of love from fans around the world in the tribute concert.

For the sake of the concert in particular, Uknow Yunho will leave for Las Vegas on March 5. In the U.S., he will join the concert team to practice the songs and choreography intensively. They will receive complete guidance from the world reknown Genevieve Cleary who is scheduled to work rigorously with the team on the choreography.

He (Yunho) is expected to return after rehearsing the actual performance several times. The remaining stars, Judith Hill who received lots of popularity for 'We are the World' and 'Heal the World' and best percussionist Bashiri Johnson who have performed in Michael Jackson's tribute concert were originally planning to appear in the Korean concert but had to cancel due to personal circumstances.

For the 2 days' performances of Michael Jackson's tribute concert which will be held this coming March 27 and 28 at Yongsan War Memorial Peace Plaza, the American staff and artists will arrived at Incheon airport on March 25 and they are expected to rehearse for two days on the 25th and 26th.

-Yunho you have one sibling right?

[Yes. I am the oldest and have one younger sister. When i was born i didn't cry so my parents were worried. So they hit me really hard to make me cry. You feel sorry for me right? I was abused as soon as i was born.]

-Haha. Yes it is~~

[The only time i can remember when i cried is when my grandfather passed away. I think from the time i was born i was a strong baby. (laughs)]

-Yes that is true. Yunho has a strong personality. How was your childhood?

[I was a trouble maker. I was full of cuts and scrapes. But something that was weird is that i never got any serious injuries and only got minor scrapes and cuts. So people around me said i was a strong boy. There was one time where i fell off a 3 story rooftop. When i was falling it felt like i was floating in the air. I was unconscious at the time and because i hung onto the balcony on the 1st floor i only had minor injuries.]

-Wow...you were really born with strong luck!

[Yes i think that too. My dad was also born as the oldest in the family name "Jung." My grandfather is also the oldest in the family name "Jung." I am the oldest son/grandson in the family as well i think they are watching over me.]

-So being the oldest in the family made you a good leader~~

[Yes. From my 1st year in Elementary school i've been the class leader and captain. I think it was because of my father's teachings. Whenever i come home with cuts and scrapes my mom would accept me affectionately. My dad was really strict on me, i think its because i was a boy. If i disappointed my dad or even cried a little bit i would get scolded by my dad a lot. My dad and other relatives were former lawyers so he was really strict on my studies. I think because of my childhood i wanted to become a prosecutor. The reason why i wanted to become a prosecutor was that i loved to read Sherlock Homes mystery novels. I also learned Taekwondo & Aikido because i thought i would need it when i became a public prosecutor.]

-Thats amazing. You gave a lot of info on your life. Whenever i see you, your tension doesn't change and you always lead the members. Do you have times when you think that you are overdoing it?

[Yes there are times like that. When i'm really tired i raise my tension. Also to work hard. Since I am human too there are times when i am down and times when i'm having a hard time. When i return home and go jogging or dance i feel better. When that doesn't work i talk to Jaejoong for advice or i talk to Junsu who i known for a long time in the office. But most of the times i'll try to solve my problems alone. ]

-You are strong Yunho.

[I need to become strong so i can work hard on whatever work i do.]

-Thats great. When did have the entertainment industry as a goal?

[Singing was in my 3rd year of Elementary school and dance was in my 4th year of Elementary School. But that time i was just learning. I did not think of becoming a pro in those industries at that time. My mom taught choir at church so i starting singing from that. My mother and sister are really good at singing. In elementary school i did recieve an award too. But after the lymph gland surgery i had a hard time singing so i stopped singing since then.]

-How did you start dancing?

[I did not start dancing from anyone's influence. It was my friend. There is this kid that was a really good dancer at my school. He was a misbehaved student and our relationship wasn't that good either. But he was a really good dancer. After looking at him dance i didn't want to loose to him and my "Don't want to loose" mind had played its role and dance started appealing to me. I wanted to be a good dancer so i practiced everyday. So when there is music my body gradually starts to move without me knowing. (laughs)]

-Did u go to a dance school?

[No i did not go to one. I officially started to get dance lessons with a teacher when i came into the office.]

-So until then you did it by yourself?

[Yes. I would watch dance videos and videos of artists and study from them until i would improve. I had a friend who attended a dance school. So he would teach me the stuff he learned at the school. So i practiced until was i good.]

-Have you wanted to go to dance school?

[I wanted to go. But my dad was very strict. My dad said if i didn't study hard he would make me quit dancing. While i was studying, i practiced dancing when i had some free time. So in order to continue dancing i had to study hard. I made a dance team with my friend who also liked dancing and continued to dance that way too. I also particpated in various contests and events as well. Starting then i made the entertainment industry my goal and started to go to various auditions.]

-At the time did you go to the audition held by your company?

[Yes. But my school exam and other auditions conflicted with that audition. I decreased my sleep time and prepared the dance for my audition presentation. At the time my dad did not approve on me continuing my dancing. But after seeing how hard i worked, he let me go into the industry i am in today.]

-So you parents must be supporting you right now.

[Yes. They would always tell me "Since you are the one who picked the road, do not give up, always work hard, do not be light-minded and always look forward and do your best." I respect my work and i respect my parents who taught me not to be embarassed about my career. My dream is of course not to loose at anything as DBSK. My other dream is to become a father like my father. My parents knew each other since elementary school and their relationship was good. My father is a good husband to my mother. My father is a good dad to me and my sister. I respect my father as a husband of one person.]

-Thats amazing words. This is the first time i heard your parents were childhood friends. I feel proud.

[Thats right. My first love was also in my 3rd year of elementary school. But that relationship did not grow into love to marry like my parents. ]

-How did your first love start and end?

[She was in the same class as me. Our mothers were friends so we had a lot of chances to meet outside of school. She had a tough personality and always would say "Yunho do it right!" or "Yunho hurry up and do this!" She had a strong leadership. But i didn't have a chance to confess because she transferred schools. So my first love ended that way. I was sad.]

-I'm sorry about that. What memories do you have in your trainee years?

[I thought that when i go the office i would be able to become a professional. I had a hard time when i found out that it was the start of my long trainee years.]

-So your debut wasn't decided than.

[Yes. Since my house was far from the office i couldn't go to lessons often. It was hard for me. Esp in my 1st year of Highschool. My grandfather passed away and my family condition changed a bit. I had to earn my own money for what i wanted to do. So i did various part-time jobs. I did waiters and cleaned the snow in my hometown because it snowed there a lot. I did part-time jobs where i collected empty bottles that came from restaurants. I also did a part-time job where i taught dance to children.]

-So you had to work, dance and study at the same time. That must have been hard.

[Yes. It was really hard. In my trainee years i went to Seoul from a month to few weeks. Since i couldn't afford to have a place of my own, sometimes i went to Jaejoong's place or Junsu's. It was a special meeting for me during my trainee years. There are various lessons for trainees. There is trainer that is in charge of the trainee's schedules. Our group's trainer was very hard on me. At first i thought it was because the trainer didn't like me. That trainer has quit due to an illness right now but i realized that the trainer wanted to transform me into one of the top entertainers while i was in his/her office. I heard this after that trainer quit. I think that the reason i am here right now is because of that trainer. I'm really thankful to that trainer. ]

-Wow...thats really good karma. Finally, as "Jung YunHo" what kind of adult did you want to become?

[I don't want to forget my style which is working hard on anything. I want to become a great guy like my father.]

-Then, how about as a DBSK Member U-know Yunho?

[I can clearly remember the emotions i had after debuting with Hug in Korea and getting 1st place. I don't want to loose that newcomer state and impress lots of people as DBSK. I also want to continue to work harder. ]

Yunho: Eccentric Type. He’s an independent guy and who doesn’t open to the world by himself. He can think of ideas that no one thinks of but he likes himself and can be fickle.

There’s a brain theory that when you cross your hands and your right thumb comes on top it said that you’re passive. And the other way around, if your left thumb comes on top you’re active(aggressive).

[174] Yunho and Go Ara are nominated for The 46th Annual PaeSang Arts Award

Thanks to the drama, "Heading to the ground", many Korean, as well as international viewers, were able to witness Yunho's acting talents. And not only did it allow viewers to see his fresh and adorable acting, it also helped him land a nomination for the popularity award at the 46th Paeksang Arts Awards. And naturally, Go Ara, his partner on screen, was also nominated.

The ceremony will be aired on KBS2TV on the 26th of March. Due to his busy schedule with the training and rehearsals for the "This Is It" concert, not to mention having to go to the US, there is no confirmation whether Yunho will be attending.

- It’s been 5 years since their debut in Japan. Everyone was still an innocent teenager and now their all grownups!
Now their releasing their complete first best album but out of the best we had them to pick their “best of the best”.

Yunho: Umm… there’s so many…it’s hard to pick but I’d have to pick “Summer Dream”. The reason is because this song was the first song Tohoshinki got number one for the Oricon daily chart. When we heard the news we were shooting the cover for the next song “Shine” but I was so happy that during the photo shoot I couldn’t stop smiling. And “Shine”’s CD cover was supposed to be cool looking so it was so hard to hold it in *laughs*. That time all the works we did in Japan came back to me like a Para-Noma.

- What is the song that you would want the person you like to listen to?

Yunho: I like “begin” too but “Stand by U” is good too but just by the title “why did I fall in love with you” is also good too.But there all sad songs. Tohoshinki has alot of songs that means “go forward with your precious one” so out of that i think i pick “明日は来るから” (Tomorrow will come). I like how it has the meaning “even though there hard times tomorrow will come”.

-We had you pick one song but what kind of feeling do you have towards the best album overall? It must feel different from releasing a normal album.

Yunho: As of right now it really makes me feel like “wow, we really did work hard” And mostly it feels like it shows how much the fans loves us. It means that this best album is made by out efforts and by the fans and everyone’s love.

I Like These Kind of HairStyle!

Yunho: “I’m bad at drawing” he said as he smiled wryly. “I like longer hair length and I made the hair color black but I don’t have any special feelings for it. And I like wavy hair that looks natural.” As he looked at his finished drawing he started to laugh saying “ahaha it’s a ghost!”.

The image of ViVi? Imagining a date with a girl? With the pose you like, say cheese!!

Yunho who was in the picture with the Rika-chan doll, thinking and said “the camera should be here”. After thinking and trying different poses he chose to let her bend one leg back!

U-Know Yunho, the leader of Korean idol group TVXQ, will participate in a special commemorative performance of Michael Jackson, organizer S2 Entertainment said.

Yunho will fly to Las Vegas in early March to rehearse with local performers for the concert titled "Band from Michael Jackson's This Is It the Movie with U-Know Yunho," the first ever Korea-U.S. joint event dedicated to the King of Pop.

The popular singer, a huge fan of Jackson, will showcase his singing and dancing talent at the two performances slated for March 27 and 28 at Yongsan War Memorial Peace Plaza in Seoul.

The final guest performers of the Korean leg of the world tour will be disclosed on Feb. 26, and ticket reservation will be available on www.yes24.com starting from March 2.

Q. When we meet, we drink tea and eat and talk. That's it. Don't people ask if we drink (alcohol) with guys? Haven't you heard that?

A: It's exactly the same for me. If I meet (someone), I talk about work and the future. It can become sort of serious but there are those who see it as fun, those who see it as cute, and those who see it as cool. It's like that. To me, "family" is very important. If I decide that someone is my kind of person, from then on, I'll talk about work, the future, things like that.

Q. However, why are you so busy? Since our work is different, it's possible that I don't understand but aren't you even busy in the middle of the night (early morning)?

A: Oh, sorry hyung (older brother). You already know I'm the meticulous type. I'm the type that well prepare a lot for the next schedule. I practice at night but for example, I don't just practice. I like walking on the spur of the moment (randomly). I like to walk around Seoul here and there in disguise and think. I'm the type to drive myself hard but there's not enough time. However, you always call me during my practice.

Q: When I called before, you said you were walking (around). Where do you walk?

A: I go here and there. At that time, Was I walking to Noryangjin? I don't like to go to a place I've been to but I like to go to places that I don't know.

Q: Do you relax by doing that?

A: No matter how many people praise me saying I did good, there are times when I look at myself and I don't think I did. So, I think that others really think I didn't do good either. I feel like I can only give that feeling (doing good) if I've tried my best 100%. When I have a really bad cold and I have to go up on stage, I think, "should I dance hard?" I know that when I think like that, I will only be able to give the feeling of 30%.

Q: Because of that "perfectionism", doesn't it make it hard in other things?

A: As you know, in private, I act like a dummy. When I'm working and something goes wrong, I will definitely ask myself questions but when it's personal, I just go "oh well~." When I first met you, you appeared serious like a sports athlete but even though you seemed that way, how should I say it, you were innocent?

Q: Let's say that's the case, but what do you do when you're alone?

A: Well, don't know. Write (myself) a plan for 10 years later?

Q: Hmm...

A: If not, I'll definitely meet friends. Like I said before, I walk alone too. I also said this in last year's GQ interview but I don't want to lose "Jung Yunho." On the stage, I go "I'm the best, I'm the best who can't lose to anyone" so I can do it (perform)but when I come down from the stage, I want to be normal. If you live to this way, then it seems like your view of the world changes a little bit. I still have lots of regular (non-celebrity) friends. That's why, going around with friends sightseeing, I'll see mothers selecting fresh fish and trying to bargain with prices. That's why when I do that, I will only take 3000 won because I might get weak.

Q: Do you want to go to the mountain once sometime? Chong Ghe Mountain is good. Bok Han Mountain is good too.

A: I'd like that. We also talked about going to the mountains a long time ago but we only talked about it.

Q: What do you dislike the most?

A: Hmm..people who lie. Lies.

Q: What do you dislike about yourself? Something like, things you want to correct?

A: Well, my dressing habit? I want to correct grabbing just whatever feels the most comfortable. Once in a while, manager hyungs will tell me to wear something nice but I don't like it when they say that either. I also have to take care of my face. Oh, I hate taking care of my nails the most. Actually, I came today too after I got skin care/treatment. It's hard laying still. Also, I keep getting blamed for broken things.

Q: What are you talking about?

A: When I touch something which has nothing wrong with it, it either gets broken, breaks, or something falls off. It does that. I didn't mean to do that but it just gets broken. I get blamed because I don't explain what happened so I get into a lot of trouble.

Q: What's your limit (alcohol)? For some reason, I think it's 3.

A: I don't know if my limit is 3 or not. When I drink with people who's good at drinking, we're all sprawled out. I didn't know that. Truthfully, I don't really like alcohol (but) how should I say it? When people drink, it seems like they kind of get aggressive, they argue over something that isn't even a big deal. That's why I usually just like talking and having a meal more. However, when I drink, I definitely drink. When it's my birthday, that day, (they'll say) "Yunho-yah, drink some today." I'll drink from a bowl this big, one shot for me, one shot for you.

Q: Do you compete with that too?

A: It's not competing. If I say, "drink as much as you love me," they'll drink in one shot. The staff will pour alcohol in a large bowl like this and say, "drink as much as you love us." It's like that. If I don't drink that much, it seems like I'm lying

Q: Isn't it okay to tell that kind of lie?

A: There are times when you may lie with good intentions. However, for me telling a lie...you could see that as cute but lies don't fit in my life.

Q: Competing is competing but there's also the issue of self-confidence.

A: I just want to learn more. If I'm going to learn, I want to learn it right. It's like that. When there's someone who does something really well that I'm interested in, I'll grab that person for sure and be next to him. (I think to myself) Let him teach me, let's give it a try once, let's see whether I will win or lose from the experience. I get those feelings. I want to enrich those kind of experiences. I really don't like living only within this life (celebrity life). That's why I want to try my best getting together with lots of people.

Q: I know what you're talking about but don't ask me to compete with you. I won't do that with you.

A: A long time ago, I played basketball with Hee Jong hyung but I only made one goal (basket) and I lost big time. I was so upset...

Q: haha, I knew it.

A: I didn't say anything (about losing) even when that happened.

Q: Why didn't you?

A: I just said, "hyung, let's do it one more time, huh? Just one more time."

Q: Anyhow, I won't bet with you on similar stuff. If you said let's make a bet, would it be something like dancing? (no) You would say let's do soccer.

A: That's right. I won't bet on something that I can do well.

Q: Anyways, I knew there was something in your gaze since I first saw you. No matter what it is, you will do it. Talking to you some just now makes me think that.
